After several years it was finally time for our next longhaul. Destination: Olhuvelli Beach on South Male Atoll.

We do usually try to get away a bit earlier for our wedding anniversary but delayed slightly this year for Zoe's wedding. This meant that our holiday was preceded by several short weeks because of the way the holidays fell this year. Wonderful time and glorious weather although we were technically in the monsoon season. Very little rain although there were plenty of clouds about as you can see in the pics.

And of course no tropical island holiday would be complete without a few forays under water. Sadly the monsoon season did have some influence here as the visibility was less than perfect and some of the drift dives were a bit on the hairy side.
